Getting There:
Zoo 2009 is less than five minutes walk away from Liverpool Street station. Old Street and Aldgate East stations are both fifteen minutes walk from the venue.
Bus numbers 8, 26, 35, 47, 48, 78, 135, 149, 242, & 388 stop near the venue on Norton Folgate.
Parking is available off Bishopsgate, Great Eastern Street and Commercial Street.
The Site:
Occupied throughout by Nicholls & Clarke – building merchants originally described as traders of glass, lead and colour – the site comprises Victorian industrial warehouses set in cobbled streets adjacent to showrooms from the 1960s used for the display of tiles, that face onto Liverpool Street’s main thoroughfare – Bishopsgate. More recently the site has been used as a film location for historical dramas such as Sherlock Holmes.
